About Beamie

Beamie is a handsome 5-year-old Maltese weighing approximately 10 pounds. He originally came from Russia. When his owner died, a relative went there to bring him to the States. That was 1.5 years ago. We are the 5th place he has been since arriving in the US. He was with the relative but her dogs would not accept him so she adopted him out and they returned him. So she adopted him here in Florida and that lasted a week and then he was brought to us. The issue with him is that you cannot touch him unless he initiates it. The relative said that he would come to sit on the couch next to her as long as it was his decision so he really wants to be loved but he is not trusting. That's understandable as he first lost his owner, came to the US, and has gone from place to place. We have seen a big improvement in him since we had him but he needs an adopter who will take the time and let him finally feel comfortable. He has to be In a home without children and is best as an only pet. His adoption donation is $300 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip.
