About Max

Please welcome 2 year old Max to our rescue!! Max has been let down terribly by humans, and he has been constantly adopted out and dumped back at Miami Dade Animal Services. Max has had no stability and he has been returned just weeks after being in a home. Max has had no structure, and he has minor aggression issues that are being worked on in professional training. He used to not like when you put a slip lead leash over his head, but he has now gotten over this issue. He now sits on command and allows you to put the slip lead leash over his head without reacting. He now goes into his crate willingly and he does come out on command. Max does not like his collar to be pulled/tugged and he will warn you by growling. The trainers are currently working on this issue. These��%BD%A0issues are��%BD%A0 likely due to abuse in his previous homes. Because of this Max CANNOT go to a home with children of any age. He is being worked with in training daily to overcome his behavioral issues. Max gets along great with other big dogs and he has a more submissive personality with other dogs. Max LOVES to be with humans and he is always craving human attention. Max needs a strong husky-experienced home who can continue to provide structure. Max needs a home who can be patient with him and understands that he has a bad past. Max has been in training for two months now and he knows all of his basic commands. He has made great progress and HE IS NOW READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME. He knows commands like sit, down, leave it. He needs a home who can work with Max's issues by being patient and building trust . With an understanding patient loving home Max can really be a loyal and loving dog.
