About Sadie

Need a hiking or running partner? Have a yard? Ready to play fetch or frisbee with your new best friend? Then meet Sadie. Sadie needs to find a new home through no fault of her own. Her family loves her but the environment is just not right for this pup. Sadie is a 16 month old 33 pound terrier/german short haired mix. Sadie is curious and smart, energetic and loving, affectionate and loyal. Sadie enjoys a good game of chase in the yard followed with a treat of a stuffed kong. Sadie knows basic commands, both verbal and non-verbal, like come, focus, paw, back it up. Sadie will only go to a home with a fenced yard. She would benefit greatly from a daily strenuous activity like running, biking, swimming, or agility training. Any adopter would need to have some breed experience and be ready to become the leader. Sadie can be possessive of high value treats and food. She would do best as an only dog. She has lived with teenagers and would do best with kids over 10. We cannot stress enough that we will not adopt if you are not active AND have a fenced yard. The family wants Sadie to land in the perfect house.
