About Tango

Adoption Fee: $500
Great Pyrenees
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Tango is absolutely wonderful with people, kids and other dogs. He lacks basic training skills, but that is something that can be taught easily and any adopter will have to agree to provide basic training skills. Tango is submissive, more laid back for a GP, excited, loving, playful, sweet and a follower. He is still just a puppy as giants are puppies until two years of age and teenagers until 4 years, which is when they are fully grown. He is significantly underweight and will require a good quality (no artificial ingredients/dyes/preservatives) high protein food to help get him up to a healthy weight. He will need a home that can help him perfect his manners and people skills with giant breed experience. We believe he would do best with another playmate in the home! We haven't tested with cats but can if needed, this is also a skill that any dog typically can learn with the right owner and training! They have proven not to be good with Chickens, so if a farm style home they will need to be where they can be separated from the chickens. We do require that all dogs are inside pets, pet friendly homes - never to be left out unattended outside if you are not at home where you can supervise them. We do not require fencing but you must leash walk if you do not have a fenced area for them to be safely secured. These two 10 Month old brothers wondered onto a farm in rural Oklahoma and killed several chickens, so the farmer tied them up and searched for their home for several weeks. After no one came forward he reached out for help and said that if he could not find a rescue he was going to shoot them! We did not have a foster so they would have to go to boarding until we could assess their medical needs and behavior. The boarding is costing us $28/day as well but we could not let them be shot! We are working on finding them a foster home so that they can work on training basic skills. They will likely need help with potty and crate training. As we believe that these boys are brothers, we will have to place them into separate homes due to the high risk of littermate syndrome aggression, which runs very prevalently in same sex littermates. See our other listings for the brother, they will not be adopted to the same home. If interested, please text or email us for an application!! We are located in Oklahoma city but we Adopt Nationwide and Deliver Nationwide!!!
