SENIOR ALERT!!! Timbo is looking for a foster in FL or GA so he can leave the shelter. Sadly, Timbo was owner-surrendered because his owner lost his job due to COVID and couldn't afford him. Timbo is a 13-year-old A ustralian Shepherd mix who is mellow and sweet. He is looking for a comfy retirement home that is quiet and calm. He walks well on the leash and would enjoy a yard with a deck or patio to hang out on. Timbo is very loving and affectionate. He would be fine as an only dog or can be with other dogs, although no super young, energetic ones. Timbo is heartworm positive; we have started him on an antibiotic and would proceed with the slow-kill heartworm treatment due to his age which consists of giving him heartworm prevention monthly. Please don't let the heartworm diagnosis dissuade you from being interested in this senior. Rescue pays for all medical.
