Adoption Fee: $75
Abyssinian / Bengal
Age: Kitten
Sex: Female

Binx and Brixie aka Coco and Cookie are an amazing brother sister pair that must stay together. Binx is a beautiful white long hair male and Brixie is an adorable brown silver charcoal flecked short hair female. They are approx. 7mo and their adoption fee is $75each. They have been vetted, vaccinated as kittens, and neutered/spayed. They are great with everybody and everything! Nice cats, nice calm dogs and nice older kids. Found as newborns without a mom, bottle-fed and adopted to an amazing family. Unbeknownst to them Dad was getting transferred to LONDON! in March 2021 and they cannot take their babies with them. $3000 to ship them and they are only allowed in cargo, not good. As sad as its going to be they are doing what is best for the kitties. THEY DIDN'T DUMP THEIR RESPONSIBILITY ONTO THE KILL SHELTERS. THEY MADE THE EFFORT AND GOT HELP. Most kitties don't just go into a new home and own it, they need an adjustment period. Patience, love and space will be needed. You cannot force them, that will scare them. Actually, you cannot force any cat, period. They are a bonded pair and do everything together. They constantly play, they sleep together and eat together. They really are absolutely wonderful. Mom has always been a dog person, but after adopting Binx and Brixie she realized she is probably a cat person now. They are complete opposites. Binx being the little baby huey and Brixie is the princess. Binx, whose ears resemble the bobcat lynx crossed with an American Curl, was born with Microphothalmos, better known as small eyes. Owners took him to Eye Care for Animals and paid $300 for them to tell her he was born with small eyes. The doctor said that this will NOT require medical attention now or in the future. His third eyelid is more pronounced, but does not affect his eyesight. Sometimes his eyes tear from his defect and mom just wipes them with a warm cloth. He is truly the sweetest boy ever. He loves affection, loves to be handled, cradled, cuddled, and loved on. He is very chill and laid back. Brixie is also a lover but she prefers to be loved on her own terms. You can pet her when she's around but she doesn't care to be picked up and forced to be loved. However, if your lounging around and she is in the mood she will give 150%. She will lay on you and work her body under your neck on your chest. She is nosy especially when you're doing homework/computer work. If you are sitting down anywhere, she wants to see what you're doing and usually falls asleep right by your side. They love interactive toys like feather on a stick, shoe lace drag and laser lite as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. They love kitty treats, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with sun rays beaming in. They will expect to share your bed. They have been free fed quality hard food (quality meaning the first ingredient begins with meat) and get up to a can each of Fancy Feast morning and night. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat's fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, love and an inside home ADOPT Binx and Brixie aka Coco and Cookie FOR LIFE!
