About Honey

Honey was born 4/18/19. She is a Pomeranina/Jack Russel Mix ( Jackaranian), weighing 16 lbs and was surrendered with her two companions about 3 months ago. Honey was pregnant at the time and gave birth 8/27/20 to 3 adorable girls. Now since the babies were old enough and got adopted it is Honey's time. Honey came from a life of neglect and had to live outside all her young life. She is now crate trained and is learning to walk on a leash. She is not house broken yet but she is very smart. She has a voice and a terrible funny bark. She gets along with all kinds of dogs and is a great security alert �٪� She has energy and in her face you can tell already that she is a little fire cracker. She is very sweet and enjoys to be loved on. What you need to know about the breed: With a goofy Jackaranian by your side, you'll never be bored again! Jack-A-Ranian, Pom Jack, Pom-a-Jack, Jack Pom To no ones surprise, the offspring of these two breeds is full of energy. To boot, this hybrid dog definitely has a mind of its own! Jackaranian will be devoted to its family, smart, active and quite stubborn. These cute dogs were originally bred to be companions. They are a great match for active families and owners who'd love a spirited pooch by their side. However, Jackaranians are not a great choice for beginners, as these dogs are notoriously hard to train. They are strong-willed and can pose quite a challenge even to a person well-versed in dog training. Due to its terrier genes and Pom's nippy tendencies, the Jackaranian is not a good fit for families with small children. They will not be patient with kids who handle them roughly and can nip them if they deem them too bothersome IMPORTANT: Honey is Located in GA. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia. We do NOT have a shelter in MA but have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent once your application is submitted.
