About Poe

Poe is a special dog in need of a special home-one where he can be his best dog self, and be your one-and-only canine companion. You see, Poe was rescued from a home where the other dogs pushed him around, and now Poe had both physical and psychological wounds from being bullied. Poe is a very good and loving boy, but he now has a lot of trouble trusting other dogs in the home. His foster home began working with him to assess his needs and whenever he is around other dogs, he is very afraid and unable to relax. He is not aggressive, just scared. We don't want that kind of life for any dog- and Poe has been through enough and it is time for him to have a home all to himself, without other dogs. Trust us, our short-legged Poe is enough dog for any family! His foster family has nothing but good things to say about him. Poe is super curious and a big-time snuggler. He almost never walks-Poe runs everywhere. He will greet you with a toy and a wiggly body. He even gives you a weird little 'moo' when he wants to burrow under the blankets with you. Poe is ready to be someone's devout companion. He is currently loving life in his Philadelphia, pa foster home.
