About Kodiak

Beautiful Kodiak is about 3.5 yrs old and is 68 lbs of BIG personality! He is very silly and very affectionate... but also true to his breed, he can be stubborn. He is incredibly smart and learns his environment very quickly so he must have a Husky experienced home that understands the importance of establishing rules and boundaries, and will continue helping him maintain his manners. He is great on a leash and loves to be outdoors, and he's a wonderful running and hiking partner. Playing a long game of fetch is a favorite, too. Kodiak MUST have a large, 6ft or higher securely fenced yard in which he can run and dance often. He will also keep the perimeters free of small animals and rodents! He's very fast and can catch a rabbit or squirrel. Kodiak will frequently run up to you and lean in for head and back scratches, then race off again to find his ball for another game of fetch. He's full of life and energy so he'll be a great companion dog for an active person! Since he is an energetic boy and still needs more training, kids must be over 16, but an adult only home would be best. He's not fond of male doggy playmates and will often play rough with the large females so it would be best if he is the only dog in the home. NO cats, small dogs or apartments please!
