About Twizzler

Twizzler is a handsome 1-year-old male Pomeranian that weighs 8 pounds. This handsome boy has a blue ring around one eye which means he carried a merle gene. He is initially shy and timid, but he warms up very quickly. He is a total snugglebug once he feels comfortable with his person! He loves to play and wags his little tail for treats. Twizzler arrived at our rescue along with many others from a puppy mill. He is learning to live life outside of a kennel. He enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn't mind cats, loves trotting around in the backyard, and taking naps on big fluffy beds that he was never able to enjoy before at a puppy mill. His current foster is working on potty training with the help of belly bands and harness/leash training. Twizzler does have bilateral luxating patella (grade 2/3) but it is not causing any issues or pain, and our vet does not recommend surgery.
