About BOGEY

What a smile I have! I am a 2-year old, unneutered male, white American Pit Pull Terrier Mix. Wow have I been through a lot! When I arrived to the shelter, I was good at intake, but then I got scared when I was leashed to go back to my kennel. They had to wheel me in a cart! Then I had to sit in a kennel for 10 days straight without out any walks! Now that I am able to get out of my kennel, I do calm down nicely. I know 'sit' and 'shake' and I take treats softly. I did ok during my dog to dog intro at the shelter so I could probably be in a home with other dogs. It is required for a Rescue to get me out of the Shelter so please call 480 331 4188 for further assistance. They will explain exactly what is needed to save me....I can't imagine being put down in this lonely shelter. Pledges needed for Rescue! Sadly I am set to be euthanized Thurs. Nov. 5th. I am E-listed because I came in with a bite. The bite occurred when I was scared on the streets as a stray. I was in a cornered when a woman approached and I bit her. Then Animal Control came to get me and I got growly because I was cornered again. It seems I am uncomfortable being approached while cornered or trapped. Is this a reason to put me to sleep?....NO! I am not a bad dog at all I jist need a chance.
