About DUKE & DAISY

You may have seen the story on our page where three beautiful dogs lost their papa due to a family tragedy. Because they didn't have immediate placement, family friends offered to foster the dogs -- Sierra (a hound mix) with one friend, and Duke & Daisy (5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix brother and sister) with another friend. Initial goal was to reunited them so the three could remain together. However, Sierra is in a home with another dog with someone who was close with their owner and she's doing very well and getting lots of love. She seems very happy and content. Duke & Daisy are happy they're still together .. and so are we. For this, now we send out our plea for those who share our Passion for Pairs. We'd like to find Duke & Daisy a home with a nice backyard with grass. They will be indoor dogs but still will appreciate their own park environment right in their own backyard. Duke is very selective with other dogs so they are not candidates for dog parks or apartment or condo living. They MUST have their own backyard and they MUST stay together. No other dogs (or cats) in the home please. Children in the home will be okay but we ask that they be at least 9 years old and of a respectful, kind, and responsible nature. Duke & Daisy would like their people to be home more than away. They're broken hearted after losing their papa and are going to need your TLC. Both pups are so nicely behaved, housebroken, friendly... foster mom says they're just the best dogs. She would love to keep them but she doesn't have a fenced in yard and said they really need their own run and play and explore space for the times they do go outside.
