About Ralph

Hello, my name is Ralph ! I am a black tri Aussie male, and I am neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. I weigh 62 lbs. and on a diet. My previous owners didn't want me anymore and dropped me off at a high kill shelter and told the shelter that I am 16 years old. I sure don't feel 16. My foster mom and veterinarian think I might be around 11 or 12. I did have heartworms, and I have gone through treatment. I am fairly healthy with the exception of both hind legs that were injured and never treated, so I am bold legged. I am on a daily supplement and take carprofen when needed. My foster mom said I am the sweetest old man that needs a home of my own. My ideal home would be with people that will dote on me, and don't mind that I attach myself to your hip. I get anxious around a lot of commotion, so a quite home is best for me and maybe one fur friend. A home with few or no stairs is best. I really love to roll around with my toys, and take them with me when I go out. I haven't had experience with children or cats, with my high herd drive, a home without is best! In my foster home I live with 4 other dogs and I like to lick them in the face, they don't really like it. My foster mom tells me, I am sweet, lovable, goofy and over all a great dog. Ralph walks great on a leash, likes baths and loves to be brushed. He is vocal when he needs to go out and feeding time.
