I have raised Cooper since he was six weeks old, and he is currently three years old. He's the closest thing to a having son I've ever experienced, so I don't take this process lightly. Cooper is quirky and entertaining and loves to cuddle in bed. Yes I let him sleep in my bed! I take him camping and paddle boarding, but always use a shock collar (the Educator) when he is off leash. He is so smart and knows a handful of commands including kiss, pray and roll over. He needs more in terms of space to be free and get his energy out daily than I can give him, and I feel that someone in a different living situation could give him more than I can in that respect. He is amazing with children and loves attention but his instinct to chase cats or deer is obvious. He recently chased a small dog in the neighborhood and injured the dog, but I am convinced he thought it was a squirrel or cat as this has only happened once. He has never willfully been aggressive towards people but he can assert himself territorially towards other dogs in his space (much less so with females). Actually I had a female golden stay in the house with us for two months and they loved to play and cuddle. I have invested so much time, emotional energy (and physical energy) into this dog and I know he would make a great addition to someone's family, especially if they have more land to roam on! I can answer any questions you might have if you reach out! More pics on request. Thank you, Heather
