About Knopka

Knopka We are looking for a loving home for a very special baby. Meet Knopka. She is a street dog, who fought for survival on a daily basis. Until, one day, she was hit by a car. Her spine was broken, but by some miracle, Knopka survived. She was rescued by volunteers, who nursed her back to health and, by some miracle, she started to walk! She received some rehab and PT, and was able to get around pretty well. Knopka goes to the bathroom outside, and by herself. Because of her injury, she does require additional help (minor bladder expression twice a day to make sure the bladder is empty). Knopka is a very sweet soul. She gets along with everyone, loves other dogs, and is endlessly grateful to people around her. Throughout this ordeal, Knopka remained gentle, sweet, and affectionate.
