About Samson &Bruno

Sam is the white and black male in the photo. They are crate trained, house broken, have decent leash managers, knows 'sit' and 'crate', but we haven't worked on other commands They are cat aggressive, but we don't know how they would act with smaller dogs, either. The do well with all people, including strangers. Both are neutered males, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm/intestinal parasite preventative. They have no other known medical issues. Sam and his father (Brindle & White shown also) were relocated to NC by their owner, who had hopes of relocating prior to Covid-19. Now he has surrendered them to us, however, we can't keep them because we have multiple cats and my husband was just diagnosed with cancer and can no longer assist with walking the dogs. I am waiting to be placed on the liver transplant listing, so I don't have the strength and energy to ensure their and our own pets safety. We have a very limited window to get them into a no-kill program prior to my husband's surgery and we are forced to abandon them to another facility that cannot guarantee they won't be euthanized. We are willing to pay their adoption fee if this organization can get them into another foster home or permanent home. While they do well together, then are not bonded to the degree they couldn't be adopted separately.
