About Jackson

My sister died a few weeks ago, and I have brought her dog from SC to MD in the hopes of finding someone to adopt him. My nephew and his two dogs have moved in with me. My son came home from college with a dog this year. I have a dog of my own. So we have five dogs -- that's one too many. Jackson is a foxhound. Born in 2006 or 2007. Very calm old Zen dog. Does NOT get along w cats. Enjoys the company of other dogs. Needs fenced in yard. He will 'run' to chase deer, squirrels and other critters. He could possibly push on a screen door and get out. If you create the right environment for him, he will stay put. He likes to spend most of the day outdoors, sitting in the sun. He has a chip in case he gets lost. Has had regular vet care. Shots due in November. Grew up in SC, in the more rural outskirts of Columbia. Had a dog house down there, which he loved. I could not find his collar w his tags, so he needs new collar/tags/chip ID tag. I have his chip card and most recent vet information.
