About Gary 911 still there:(

Update - poor Gary is still wasting his life away , not even one call !!! There has to be one special angel that is a women that will give Gary a chance . Over 600 DAYS in the shelter !!! This post is going out with a prayer that the right angel is reading this right now to help sweet Gary !! Sweet Gary is a wonderful dog and does get along with bigger size dogs , he should not be here this long , so so sad . All it takes is that one angel willling to make the effort to come see him a few times and give him some biscuits to get over the hump of a slow warm up . After he knows you it's full steam ahead of so much love , however everybody just seems so busy and never has given Gary that chance !!! Please somebody local come and visit Gary ! Gary is very sweet, smart, and knows his basic commands, but Gary is wary of new people and takes time to trust and warm up to them. Gary REQUIRES multiple meet and greets at the shelter so he can learn to trust that not all humans are unkind. Gary is 8 years young, a handsome hunk of a senior weighing in around 65 pounds. He is very playful and is amazing with other medium to large dogs - no small dogs no cats. He is extremely affectionate with people once he gets to know you. Whatever amount of time it takes for Gary to get to know and trust you, the time and investment will be worth it!
