About Kiwi

Adoption Fee: $250
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

This beautiful Cattledog mix girl is Kiwi. She is 2 years old and weighs 26 pounds. She has a docked tail. Kiwi is a smartie. She knows sit, lay down, come, and drop the ball. These are hand signals that she learned in just a few months. Despite being deaf, she picks up signals and small cues even if you aren't trying to teach them to her. Kiwi is house trained and doesn't chew on things that aren't hers. Kiwi is good with other dogs. She is also good with men and women. She is not a fan of kids, so only junior high or older kids are an option. Kiwi is a fun and active girl who would love a fun and active person. Currently she goes to the park daily to fetch and fetch and fetch (click on the red YouTube button to see her in action). She also runs 3 miles a day and is great on the leash. She is good in the car but can get excited. She is a fantastic dog for outdoor adventures. One of the great things about a deaf dog is that they don't let loud things bother them. Thunder? No issue. Fireworks? Also no problem. However, she is just as smart and active, plus she learns so fast! Finally, Kiwi is very affectionate and devoted to her person. Whomever gets the title of Kiwi's person is a lucky and loved person indeed. She even carries soft items in her mouth (not chewing them) when she comes up to excitedly greet her person. Kiwi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs.
