Delilah is an adorable two-year-old, 30 lb. lab/beagle mix. This little girl has quite the story...she was living in a home in North Carolina when suddenly there was a gas leak, causing a huge explosion on the property. Her owner sadly passed away and she was found along with 17 other animals. Thankfully Delilah was one of the lucky ones. The whole experience was incredibly traumatizing for her and she has developed a lot of anxiety since. She's truly a sweetheart and would love to find a quiet home to settle into now that she's up north in Connecticut. Once comfortable, Delilah loves to play and cuddle. She loves to explore and always wants to be close to her people. She walks well on leash and is doing great with her housetraining. Delilah is looking for a quiet home environment and would do best with children 10 and up. She enjoys the company of other dogs, which also help her feel more confident, so another pup in the home is an absolute requirement. She was also previously living with cats. She is a high flight risk dog so you must have a fenced yard (not electric). Adopters not gone long hours are highly preferred. Her adoption fee is $350 and Delilah is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
