About Alex

19 month old Alex is a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier with paperwork including DNA testing. She was purchased at 7 weeks and brought into a loving and affectionate home. Alex is a sweet family dog who is very protective of her family but has high anxiety which has gradually increased over time, and she has shown unpredictable low level aggression towards people outside her family. She attended puppy kindergarten at 4 months old, and she spent 5 weeks at boarded behavioral training at 13 months. We have worked with 2 vets to try to find a solution to her anxiety issues, but although she is currently on medication, nothing has worked to date. We are seeking to rehome Alex because we are unable to continue providing the high level of time and attention she needs. We are hoping to find her a loving home with someone who is willing to put in the time to help give Alex the life she deserves. With Alex comes all of her supplies including her crate, multiple beds, toys, etc. She is current on all of her vaccinations and has been very well taken care of.
