About Sarge

This handsome buddy is Sarge! We pulled him from a shelter when his time was up. We're not sure why he was there in the first place, but we're happy to be the bridge to the new life he deserves! Sarge is a 7 yr old Lab mix. He weighs about 70 lbs, and is steadily gaining healthy weight. He is really sweet and loving, and bonds easily to any human he meets. Sarge loves to ride in cars and go for walks, so someone looking for an adventure buddy would be a great match for him! He is pretty quiet and relaxed, but does like regular activity so someone with a fenced yard where he can run and play would be ideal. Sarge is mostly blind but it seems he can see shadows and lights. He navigates his area pretty well and goes in and out of a doggie door with no issues. Due to his vision, it is best that he is not in a home with small children. He seems to do well with friendly dogs, but prefers a cat free home.
