About Shadow

Shadow is looking for his forever home. Special needs Shadow has had such a rough life. He came to Rescue Dogs Dream two months ago after he was left abandoned in a home and the owners told the realtor to just have him put to sleep. She couldn't do that, so she contacted us and asked us to help. Shadow is improving daily in a loving foster home but really wants to find his forever family. He is Heartworm positive but we have already started his treatment and he will come with a 1-year supply of heartguard. When we first got him he had extensive hair loss from flea dermatitis but with healthy salmon food and medicated baths, he's doing great. He also was having a lot of difficulty walking but we have adjusted his pain medications and he's doing great (we will provide 6 months of pain medication.) Shadow is 8 years old, weighs 55lbs, and is a total sweetheart, he loves to snuggle with his person, go on short walks and ride in the car. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots. He is potty trained and crate trained. Can someone be his guardian angel and give him a FOREVER HOME? Shadow is located in Dunnellon FL.
