Meet Caesar, one big hippo of a boy loves to play and is super social. Basically a giant puppy, Caesar needs manners training! He's 5 years old but you would never know it. Caeser is a big happy hunk of a boy, weighing in at 103 lbs of muscle, and 1000 lbs of pure heart! Active, playful, happy hearted and ridiculously sweet, he has nothing but goodwill in his heart for humans. He is so good natured that once, when he was younger, another dog bit him right on the face and he never defended himself. He simply whimpered and waited for his parent to free him from the jaws of the mean dog who didn't accept Caesers overtures of friendship. At the shelter he did fine with a girl doggy in playgroup, seemingly not holding a grudge against his peers. He is simply a gem - perfectly trained and well behaved, and if he is suffering a bit of anxiety at the shelter that is being channeled into some leash grabbing and mouthiness, his owner notes are absolutely glowing and we know that once he is back into he comfortable routine of family life, with structure and time to decompress, he is going to be the most wonderful companion you could ever ask for.
