Fozzie came into rescue when he was at risk for euthanasia due to medical. He had very severe ear infections and has a lot of scar tissues built up outside his ear canals. We were able to get the infections cleared and he got surgery done to 'reroute' the ear canals to make them less prone to infections in future, but unfortunately they still look pretty ugly. To remove the tissue would have required the complete removal of both canals and the vet felt that this would not resolve the issue long term and he also would have lost all of his hearing. So we are hoping to find him a special home with someone who appreciates his sweetness and his positive attitude and survivor spirit. He is a happy guy and does well on the leash and in a crate. He also is mostly housebroken and likes everyone he meets (feline, canine and human). We are happy that we were able to give him a 2nd chance and hope to find him the best home where his 'imperfections' are seen as perfect. He is around 6 years old and approximately 13 lbs.
