About Jake

This is Jake, a 1yo, 65lb, intact, indoor, house broken Pitbull (mix?). Very loving and playful, loves to be cuddled and told he's a good boy, zero aggression. Good with other dogs. My husband saw him get hit (and run) and stopped to help him. He took him to an emergency clinic because the owner was nowhere to be found. Once the owner was found, he could not afford the medical bills and we volunteered to pay them. About 2 weeks later, the owner called us and said he could not keep Jake. We took him and have been trying to acclimate him to our home for the last month, but our four cats are having none of it and he tries to get at them whenever we bring him in the house. We would love to find Jake an active family, as he is very high energy, preferably with another dog; or someone who has time to spend with him running, walking, playing and having adventures. Jake is such a good, sweet dog, and we'd love to see him in a stable home with someone who can spend the quality time with him that he deserves. We prefer that any meeting be at your home. We don't need a tour of your house or anything, we'd just like to see that Jake would be in a safe environment, where he'd be provided for as needed. Please e-mail if interested and for more info.
