TO BE KILLED - 10/21/2020 ON HER WAY TO AN OUTSIDE VET FOR MEDICAL EXAM AND POSSIBLE TREATMENT! :( Since her arrival at the Manhattan shelter, sweet Anubys has been extremely anxious, panting heavily and spinning in circles and biting her tail in the kennel. After trying everything to sooth her this poor baby, she was eventually seen by medical, an x-tray was done and it seems that when she was being 'darted in' the dart may have penetrated her abdominal cavity and hit internal organs. Anubys has been suffering this whole time. She had been brought to a veterinarian outside of the shelter. We'll update as soon as we know anything. Anubys will need a good foster or adoptive home where she can recover.
