About Montgomery(Monty)

This guy needs a new home! He's been our family dog for several years now, but our kids have gotten older and moved out. He's probably 6-7 years old with plenty of energy still. By everyone's deductions he's a red leopard Catahoula curr, possibly mixed, but with Catahoula, it's common. He's got cracked eyes, webbed feet and hasn't been fixed. No papers as he was a dump dog who never left after trying to locate the previous owners. Excellent woods dog, would excel in the country or with a fenced yard, neither of which we can offer. Currently he's a house dog, but he gets plenty of time in the backyard on a lead, but will still prefer someone's company to solitude. I would definitely describe him as a companion dog, as he will gladly follow you wherever you may go! Great around kids in general, but a little too excited around newborns, to be honest. He weighs in at about 65 pounds.If you, or someone you know might have any suggestions on a potential placement, please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.
