About Hank

Adoption Fee: 125
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi guys, my name is Hank! I'm about a year old and I am considered just a little of a special needs boy because I have impaired vision. I am not completely blind - I can see shadows and I am pretty good with depth perception, but I still should have a safe home for me to physically navigate. Otherwise, I'm a pretty normal guy that has adjusted well to my special needs. My foster mom tells me all the time that I'm a super special boy! I can see things in the distance pretty well but when something is close to me I can't see it. My foster family has been teaching me words to let me know what's going on around me. When they are close and want to pet me that always say 'love' and 'Hanky love', and when they want to pick me up they tell me 'pick up' and 'Hanky Pick up'. I still flinch a little when they first touch me but I'm learning really fast all these big words. See that's why she calls me her special boy! I am very chill and like to just hang out and take in all the sounds and a few sights. I have made some good kitty friends here in my foster home but Johnny and I are the best of friends, he is my favorite friend and we do everything together! My favoritest time of the day is NAP TIME!! Oh, and I love when it's time to eat too! I do like to play with the soft balls and tiny stuffed animals! I get along with all my other foster brother and sisters! Little kids kind of scare me a little. I love my foster family too, when I meet new people I am very very shy but will eventually come out and see them:) I'd like a home where there are no dangers such as steep steps so maybe a one story home will be best for me so I don't fall and hurt myself. I really just want a family to love me, so please find it in your heart to adopt me. All cats are spayed/neutered, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea prevention. No declawing. Indoor homes only. If pet is still listed, he/she is available so please do not ask if available. If you wish to be considered for adoption, please submit an application at www.rescueangelssomd.com.
