AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Mitzi is the cutest little thing! She is a mixed breed dog who is about 3 years old and weighs about 30 pounds. She is shy and sweet and lives to love someone. She is a little shy by nature but thrives on the attention of other dogs. For Mitzi, we are looking for a quiet home with at least one canine companion. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
