About June

Adoption Fee: $25
Treeing Walker Coonhound mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Please read everything before inquiring!! We have come to the conclusion that we cannot keep June. So we are now looking for her a good approved home. June is some sort of hound mix that will be a year old in January. At her last vet visit (last month), she weighed 36 lbs. She was one of the puppies that we got from McKenzie at the beginning of the year after she and her siblings was dumped off on the side of the road. She loves attention and would do wonderful in an active home with children so she can release some energy! She is timid at first and will need time to warm up to you and has always been very submissive (I promise we haven't abused her, shes just naturally submissive). She is an inside/outside dog. We pretty much let her stay outside during the day in the fenced in yard and then bring her in at night. She is house and crate trained, but does submissive pee sometimes. Our vet said she would eventually grow out of that. June gets along really well with large breed dogs but doesnt need a home with small breeds (which is the sole reason why we are rehoming her to a better suited household). She hasn't really been around my cat long enough to get a good assessment on how well she does with them. But I would imagine that if she is having trouble with small dogs, it would be the same for cats as well. This girl is SO sweet and wants nothing but to be loved and I hate that we have to give her up, but we have 3 small dogs and one of them is 9 years old and I've had him since he was 5 weeks. I just can't chance something happening to any of them. I am making June an appointment tomorrow to get spayed before she goes to her new home. So whoever is interested will have to wait till that's done. She is NOT leaving till the procedure has been done. She is up to date on rabies, is microchipped and will be spayed. She will come with her slow feeder bowl (she inhales her food so her bowl is definitely something she needs to keep) and her kennel. We are not asking a fee for her but will be very cautious about where she goes. If you're interested in June, please message me or text me at 334-672-2545.
