About Parker

Please do not apply if you do not have at least one other small/young dog in the home! To start the process to meet PARKER, please fill out an adoption application. Meet and greets will be held in Tarzana, CA https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980 PARKER is 9 months old, he weighs 12 lbs, and we believe he is a Parsons Jack Russell Mix who has long legs, a low maintenance wispy white and tan coat and a sweet face. Parker was an owner surrender in an animal cruelty case and our hearts break for him. He has definitely suffered trauma in his young life and he will require a special family to give him time to heal and to learn to trust people again. We do not recommend any young children in the home and he must have a quiet environment. We will NOT consider any home that does not have a second small dog preferably a bit older but young enough to be able to interact and play with Parker. He loves other dogs and he does enjoy playing with them and gets comfort from the companionship. Parker Facts: �'ۢ House trained using a doggie door (there will be a transition period in a new home) �'ۢ Still perfecting his leash training and he is doing great! �'ۢ Parker is extremely shy, lacks confidence and he will need a family willing to work on his issues in a calm and quiet manner. He needs to trust you first, but he has come a very long way from the absolutely terrified puppy we rescued. �'ۢ Parker loves other small dogs �'ۢ Parker is microchipped, current on vaccines and is neutered �'ۢ This sweet and shy pup will blossom with love and care and another dog in the home. Like most dogs, Parker would love nothing more than a warm lap and a family to call his own. He gets along well with other dogs (they are a comfort for him), therefore, there MUST be at least one other small dog in the home and he would do best in a quiet and calm environment with a retired couple, active single or a family with children 14 and older.
