This is the sweetest little boy that ever lived. A lanky, handsome, muscular little boy, he was the biggest of them, the leader of the pack and he was the first one to let me pet and hold him. This isn't the best picture but he gets so excited when I come it's hard to get a picture at all! He is one of four abandoned kittens that I've been trying to find homes for since their mother left them at 3 months old. I was trying to get them homes right before the pandemic when they were just kittens but then the virus hit and my health issues laid me low. I had adult mono that seriously lowered my immune system. That, in turn, caused massive heart valve damage and two years ago, at 47, the doctors gave me a year before I would have a massive heart attack or stroke. Because of my immune issues, I can't get the operation I need to save my life, my body would reject any transplants. Somehow, I've survived a year past the expectations and though I'm in terrible pain and ready to go in peace,but I can't. I can't go until they are safe, I'm all they have! Since god has blessed me with another period of my symptoms subsiding, I am trying as hard as I can again. These cats are not like shelter cats, they have limited contact with humans, I was the first person to pat them and they were so confused. They were scared, but really enjoyed the love and it was the funniest thing I ever saw. I have been hiding them in the woods behind my complex now since last winter, but they have only made it because the virus suspended the grounds crew activities. Once it starts, they will trap and kill them. I HAVE to give them good homes and a chance with a loving family. I am literally taking on a full time job with this spending as many hours as my regular job now, posting, updating, and networking in a desperate attempt to give them a good life - not just to keep them alive, but give them a good life. I don't want them just rescued to be placed in an animal shelter a year from now when someone has to move and can't have an animal or loses there job and can't pay to feed them or take them to the vet if they need help. No one knows how unpredictable life is than me, anyone can lose anything at any time, but to find them a good home, I can use common sense and pray for God to show them mercy, trying to make the best decision I can. They are still just slightly feral, so they will need LOTS of love and attention, but once they accept someone as an Alpha, it will be the strongest bond you could ever have with an animal, especially a cat. They will need to go outside sometimes or have a large home to play in, maybe they could live outside full time even, but with a clean, warm, safe place to go to rest and sleep. They may eventually be good inside cats, but they will need that interaction and time to get used to it. They run, play, stalk and that is really funny too. They love to play, you can feel their muscles ripple in your hands when you pick them up and they have A LOT of energy! it's going to be hard for me to find them the ideal home, but if you can help us, have space, are financially stable, and want a truly unique experience to build a bond with him, please let me know. He has a little sister that looks exactly like him too and a Bengal colored sister too. My dream to have them all go to the same, loving home to play and love for the rest of their lives, but.....I'll be glad for just a good home for each of them.
