About Lil' Bit

Adoption Fee: $20.00
Bengal / American Shorthair
Age: Kitten
Sex: Female

This beautiful little girl is one of four babies abandoned by his mother. She is about 11 months old now and a little bitty thing - hence her name. she will need lots of love and attention though, not having been around people very much, but once they accept you, you would never have a stronger bond with an animal. You would become her first Alpha and she would be incredibly dedicated to you. She really isn't a an indoor cat though wouldn't do well in a small apartment, she would need a bigger home to explore to be indoors full time. She is part Bengal, with some of the most amazing fur I've ever seen. It took me 3 months to be able to get them to trust me. I had never seen a cat be petted for the first time and it was beyond adorable. Being the runt of the litter and the last one to warm up to the touch, she looks at me so longingly now, you can tell she would be completely yours if you made a connection with her. Now they are starved for attention and since their mom abandoned them, they only have me to care for them and I am quickly running out of time. I have a fatal heart condition that I am still fighting tooth and nail to stay alive and the pandemic has both helped and hurt my chances. I am hiding them at the back of our complex and due to the pandemic, they ceased grounds operations just before they were set to trap and euthanize. They can start that at any time again now and I am more desperate to find them GOOD homes now. I've lasted well over the year I was given to live due to a life threatening heart valve issue so apparently God isn't done with me yet because these little guys showed up. My apartment complex got a lot of complaints due to paw prints on cars, so they have given me only 2 months to get them homes or relocate them before they trap and euthanize them, so the pandemic saved their lives. Our shelters are always full and they rarely take in feral cats, though they aren't feral. I am hoping to find them good homes with a financially stable, loving families and that is all I really care about. They are so amazingly beautiful and the adoption fee to Rescue Me only 20.00 to rescue me, I think, is reasonable and wouldn't want anyone to take them who couldn't, at least, afford that and due to the onslaught of online abuse of animals given away for free, will help weed out would-be abusers a little. They would be great with WELL ADJUSTED children taught to respect life and probably good inside full time in a big home or inside/outside. They are full of love and life and would be great playmates or, eventually, lap cats. Outside they would be good mousers and critter getters probably and would come in at night to be snuggle bug, lap cats. If you can help them, please reach out. Time is not on our side in any way and we need help fast. I can make recommendations based on the information you give me if this one is not for you.
