About Spaz

Spaz is such a spaz! He is so funny to watch dart around, but this poor thing is just a ball of nervous energy waiting for help. He was abandoned when some heartless people left him behind when they moved out of their apartment. He is a sweet little boy, but he is scared. He's only about 6-7 months old and he is a very handsome orange short hair little boy. He is good with the other cats and not at all aggressive. I think he is going enough to be good inside a large home or be an indoor/outdoor cat. ( It's my personal belief that all animals should be given outside privilege - they are animals ) but if indoors saves him, then indoors will work, bit hopefully it would be in a good size home. Like so many other homeless animals, people get small cats for their booger eaters to play with, then when they get older and are no longer babies, they are let go to starve and face the elements alone. Contrary to popular belief, domesticated animals do not fare well outside alone. It would be like you or me being dropped off in the wilderness, we may survive but life would be horrible. He is a sweet little boy, but he is confused and scared. He found the packing four brothers and sisters I am hiding behind our complex, but they are starting to wander and it's getting harder and harder to sneak out to feed them and spend time with them. If the manager finds out, they will trap and euthenize them immediately. The pandemic stopped grounds services, which saved their lives, but I don't know for how much longer. He needs love, lots of love and a safe home. Ideally, I would like someone to have a home, not apartment, so he isn't right back in the same situation in a couple years, living in the system and in constant rotation from you be family to the next. This world is changing drastically and he needs stability with a safe home and financially secure owner who can care for him, taking him to the vet when needed. I am dealing with a number of cats, 6 in total, hoping to get them all placed as soon as possible of course. This is more important to me than anything else in this world! I was told 2 years ago, I have a year to live. The valves of my heart are barely functional now, damaged by infection from adult mononucleosis. The insane amount of antibiotics used for IV treatment were working, but every 4 - 6 months I am down for up to a month until the symptoms subside, various infections always attacking. I have been trying to get the 4 brothers and sisters adopted for almost a year. I had tried for 4 months while they were still juveniles and more desirable, then the pandemic hit! I had some dark moments of depression then and my symptoms got worse after that. I just can't go in peace knowing that no one will be there and they will likely starve. I've cared for them since their mother abandoned them as kittens. After hearing my delemma, both of the doctors think it is sheer force of will that is keeping me alive and, as a consequence, suffering. I want to go, at 48 I have done all I can in this world to make it a better place and I don't know how much longer I can take it, but I will keep trying until my dying breath. They mean everything to me. The fee is for the Amazes ng work they do at RESCUE ME and to hopefully weed out the people getting animals to torture online - please fight animal abuse and boycott instagram. If you have children I would like to meet them to see how they interact with small animals. Animal abuse is on the rise and it would kill me to know I delivered an animal to someone that would abuse it.
