My name is Jasmine and I'm from the Buyeo meat truck rescue! I have come along way since that day and I've been longing for a family I can call my own. After JLR rescued me, I was so happy to be alive. If it weren't for them stopping the truck, I wouldn't be alive to write this. I would have continued to be tortured, abused and in the end, dead. I call JLR my angels because they saved me. I was traumatized from the experiences prior to the rescue so I did have difficulties adjusting to the foster home. My anxiety, stress and fear were just so much to bear that I would shut down. Imagine being cramped in a cage stuffed with your friends on top of you on your way to the slaughterhouse. You would feel the same way. The bad memories kept me awake. The team of JLR decided to send me to the states to be fostered and rehabilitated with team member @dahlia who has been amazing in helping me with anything and everything. Not to mention she has also loved and spoiled me as if I was her own. I was adopted in November 2021 but got returned a year later in November 2022. I thought I had a family of my own; it's what I've been wishing for. But turns out, I didn't. Through no fault of my own, they couldn't properly care for me anymore and didn't give me the space I needed. I'm really sensitive but very loyal. There was a death in their family and they forced affection in my direction which I did not consent to. They didn't respect my needs and returned me because my affection was not up to their expectations. They wanted one of those dogs you can just suffocate with love and hugs and squeeze. But FYI guys, dogs actually do not like that. Especially when it's forced and invading a dogs boundaries. If humans have boundaries, why do people think dogs don't? Anyways�'�|here I am, back with my foster mom who came to my rescue AGAIN, but I would really, really love to find a furever home and a furever family that will love me for who I am. What am I like you ask? Well let me tell you! I enjoy my time inside on soft cuddly beds and time outside with you! I love my long daily walks and enjoy playing catch in your yard. I am fine to be only your pup because I love having all your attention! I do get along also with male dogs who are my same size. Female dogs and I sometimes compete. I'll be your best friend, if you call me I'll be there! If you work from home I most likely will be lying at your feet! I love food and treats and toys with a squeaker. Due to my past, I really need someone who is an experienced dog owner. I don't feel comfortable with young children. But respectful young adults are okay. I can be a strong dog and love my sniffs when we walk. I also love car rides and exploring new sights and parks with you. I need to regularly go to the vet for my nail clippings and bath time. What can I say, I like to be pampered ����. I also am cat friendly and polite! I'm a good dog. I really am, but the more that time passes, I wonder why no one really notices me. Am I not lovable? Do I not deserve to have a family of my own? I want new memories. The really good ones to make the bad ones farther and farther away. JLR says I'm amazing and they will fine me a home! They are so encouraging and loving! I want to stay hopeful! Please help share my post! I know my family is out there, they just haven't seen me yet! I'm right here!!
