[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Good morning, I am a sweet, cuddly, rattie rescued from OC animal shelter 1.5 years ago. My previous owner was an older lady who died. I spent two weeks at the shelter and was returned once due to separation anxiety. My mom pulled me out of the shelter and until recently, we have lived happily together. From mom... Otto has slow moving mast cell tumor on his back left leg. You can see it in the picture. He is 9 years old and has a #5/6 heart murmur, so we decided not to treat it since it required amputation. We wanted to give him the best life possible for however long he lives. It's been 18 months and he shows no signs of slowing down. I hate to rehome him but he has become extremely territorial and aggressive toward my 11 year old cockapoo. I have no idea why. He growls at him constantly. He blocks the stairs to the bed. It's so disappointing. He is loves my 15 & 17 year old daughters but with the current behavior I think best he not be in a home with young children. Otto was clearly an outside dog. He loves to sleep in under the covers, then go out side and lie in the sun all day. I live on 1 acre and he stays very close to the house. He does bark if people come around but would never bite. When I have guests over, he barks at them at first then becomes very shy and just lies under the table. He is a very funny dog, loves to chase balls and play with toys. I am so sad he has come to hate my other dog who is the sweetest guy ever. Otto would be a perfect dog for an older person/couple who is home a lot and needs companionship. He will also alert you to anyone coming around. If he is on a leash, he will not bark at other people or animals. Thank you.
