About Shiloh

This gentle terrier mix is apx. 5 years old and weighs in at a sturdy 28 lbs. We aren't sure about the first few years of his life, as he was found in a ditch in the middle of a thunderstorm by a kind family that took him in and gave him shelter for the last couple years...he was kept as an outdoor dog with access to the garage. Since being in his amazing foster home this past month, he has really learned what it means to be an inside dog and he is LOVING it!! Potty training is going great, toys are a new discovery, he is so smart and has learned sit, stay, come, & lay down, and he knows that being next to people is exactly where he belongs...he is a total snugglebug! He has an amazing fur-sibling that he looks to for guidance and confidence building, so he needs to be in a home with another pup that can help continue his growth. True to his name, Shiloh thinks meeting new people can sometimes be overwhelming, and he is doing great on walks where he can get used to all the new things, but a privacy fence is mandatory so he can safely explore on his own. He is also not a fan of thunderstorms! All things said, a quiet, patient home would be his preference. Shiloh is kennel trained, current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and just had a dental on Sept. 10th.
