About Poco

Poco was picked up as a stray and no one ever showed up to claim him. Poco has loads of personality to love and entertain. He is a happy, sweet and spunky, loves to play and romp around in the yard. Poco loves, loves people and is very affectionate with them. He even prefers the company of people over other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Poco is about 3 years old and 38 pounds. Update: Poco tested positive for Ehrlicchia, a common tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. He is on a course of oral antibiotic and is acting fine. Poco is still available for adoption and can go to his new home to complete his antibiotic with his new family. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
