Nala, 2 year old, rough coated Saint Bernard female, came to the Saints and Angels rescue family in July. She turned 2 in August and she is pretty close to PERFECT! She came to us as an owner because of life circumstances. We don't get very many as great as this girl, so she will go fast now that she is ready!!! Name: Nala Age: 2 yrs Breed: Saint Bernard Location: Oklahoma City Adoption NATIONWIDE! Nala needed entropion surgery on both eyes and unfortunately it had to be done twice because she broke her cone and ripped out all her stitches within a few days of her first surgery! She has since recovered and her eyes look amazing! Then we also had to deal with what we thought was a flea allergy, but soon found out she has a food allergy as well to Chicken and Grains. She lost a big part of her coat before we got this under control but it is now growing back and she is ready to be adopted! We have spent over $3000 getting Nala all ready for adoption with her rescue, medical care, several surgeries, grooming and daily care - she is worth every penny! She is up to date on everything, spayed and will just need her future home to be extremely careful on what she eats so that she can grow her beautiful coat back! She grew up in a home with babies, is AMAZING with kids, cats and ALL dogs! We haven't found a dog that she did not get along with, she would be a perfect dog park Saint! She is a very low key, submissive girl that is literally just a huge love and cuddle bug!��%BD��%BD%90zShe would make the perfect therapy dog with proper training as she has the perfect temperament! She loves to cuddle and just be near her humans. She is crate trained, knows Sit, down, working on wait and is pretty great on leash but will need additional work on learning what is to be expected of her on leash. She is not a jumper either! She is a short length rough coated Saint Bernard who has a beautiful black mask and mahogany torn mantle coat. The colors are difficult to see in photos but they are stunning! As with most giants, she is not fully aware of her size (at 105 pounds she is a smaller female but still has a lot of filling out to do) and she should be supervised around small children, so not to knock them down. She has zero issues with resource guarding, food, toys, etc. This girl is totally amazing and she would be an amazing blessing to any future adoptive home. She is doing amazing in her foster home with several cats and two female pit bull dogs. She has met several dogs and cats in the few months we have had her and she has been amazing with all of them! We had her spayed, Vaccinated, chipped, HW tested and completed a full checkup at the vet yesterday and she is very healthy, just needs to gain some weight and is allergic to chicken & grain products, causing hot spots and dry skin.
