About Finley James

Finn is from a show breeder in GA. My oldest daughter got him not realizing the HIGH drive in his bloodline makes him a very hardworking, HIGH energy dog. I rescued him from her March of 2019 in hopes that our house would give him a better environment. We did not get him to show or breed, we got him to love as a family dog but then came to realize that it is in his blood to work and be very active. Finn needs lots of land to run around and an owner who has the time and enjoys working with dogs. Finn was born on Feb 14th and is 2 years old. I do not see him growing out of his energy due to the breeder so please only inquire if you are able to love and help a high energy dog. Finn is a very quick learner and LOVES to please his human. He loves his neck and chest scratch daily so please only people who like to give love daily. Finn is current on his shots. He lives with his little brother (pit bull) and does very well with him but he does assert his dominance being bigger and older. He does not bark at other dogs so this makes me think he would do well with other dogs that are high energy as well (he does not do well with timid dogs as he will jump on them) just preferably of the female variety. He does jump when getting excited so I do not recommend smaller kids for him at this point.
