'Hello my name is Precious and I'm looking for my very own home to call my own. I am the sweetest gal around and am ready to make someone very happy. I am a 1 year old Pit Bull that came to SVASC after my owners were no longer able to care for me. To be honest, I'm not too bummed because they were not treating me the kindest, so I'm looking forward to my fresh start! I am a good girl, but can be quite wary of new people, especially men. I take a little bit of time to warm up and may actually even do best in a home without men. If I'm given time to get to know you, though, I bond really strongly and will be your bff for life! I've gone through a lot in my life and so I really need to build some positive experiences with new people. I can be pretty protective over my person and so my future adopters should keep that in mind. I do settle in after a few days and will likely stop this behavior, but at first, I don't like to share my person. I am good with other dogs, but like to have my own space. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter. I'm currently waiting for a home with a foster, so I'm not at SVASC.
