About Gilligan

This handsome smiling pit mix boy age of 8 months is having good times living inside the house in suburbs. He came a long way and has learned so many new things in short few weeks: he walks on the leash and water doesn't scare him. He didn't swim, but followed his foster sister Golden Retriever into the lake and even ran away with her stick, just having fun... He learned to ride in a car, not a big fan yet, but handles it like a Champ. He runs up and down the stairs, sleeps in a crate overnight with no peep till 8 am and cuddles next to you when you allow it! Gilly loves his food, but you wouldn't know it until it's dinner time. Chewing smelly hooves, bones, antlers, ears is his favorite pastime and will keep him occupied for awhile, especially when some time off is needed. He would love and needs to have a playful buddy at home to share the fun. Gilligan loves the sun and will snooze outside when it's warm enough, he enjoys going outside for a walk and needs to smell all the flowers in this new world of suburban living. With every day increasing the distance of walking, he will build up an endurance to handle longer hikes in no time. Friendly with other dogs, and submissive, he loves all people, but have not been around the little ones yet. His foster family includes 3 cats and he is a big 'younger' brother to them too, gently giving away some kisses, when they allow it. He is house broken, had a couple of accidents, but learning quickly. No barker, and squirrels don't bother him either. Gilligan is an adorable happy puppy and still has a lot to learn, but his sweet, mellow and affectionate personality, with some irresistible energy zoomies and wiggle butts when excited, will make him a perfect companion for a person or family with another playful dog.
