About Baby Paisley

Parson Russell Terrier
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Paisley is everything you would expect in a Parson Russell Terrier pup just over four months old - busy, brilliant, energetic, spunky, entertaining, people-pleasing, you name it. She will give you her heart and soul as long as you let her work alongside you. This little girl gets along great with other dogs and should be fine with most cats. However, cats and dogs may tire of her energy fairly quickly unless they are of the same mindset. She loves children but she is still a bit mouthy (not surprising given her breed and age) and so needs some training before she will be great with small children. Older children that can handle her mouthiness and know how to lovingly but firmly correct it would be best. She gets along great in a crate and car but is still learning that a leash isn't just an extremely long chew/tug toy. Look no further if you have been wanting a Parson Russell puppy! Paisley is it! Read on or go directly to the adoption process page of our website, throwmeabonedogrescue.org, to apply. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
