About COOKIE (PANDA)

HI - I'M COOKIE! I'm a 3-year-old purebred Saint Bernard in need of a forever home! My nickname is Panda and I weigh 98 pounds. I am a loving, beautiful dog with an even-tempered disposition in the home and with my people. But I will get riled up quickly if I see a squirrel, the postal carrier, deer, or even people outside my window. My disposition turns back to calm quickly, but I'm a fiercely loyal and strong companion, so would do best in a low-stimulus environment without a lot of activity outside our doors. I currently am in a foster home with a 20-pound terrier, and I do well with other dogs inside my home. I am also housetrained, and know basic commands. I sit next to the door when I need a potty break, and I am not restless when my foster mom works on the computer. I am wonderfully accommodating and accept walks on a mile loop twice a day with my current people. I love to snuggle! My ideal adopters would live in more of a rural setting, where I'm not stimulated too much by outside critters or activity. I will benefit from some positive reinforcement, and some training. Overall I'm a gentle, spirited, happy girl who needs the right owner to thrive. I would also do best in an adult-only home (or a home with kids over 12), where I can be loved and cherished and given the attention I so deserve. Please email for an application.
