About Chester

Chester is a 6-year-old Chow/Labrador mix. Chester is a great dog and can become very devoted and affectionate. He's playful and good on the leash, and is crate trained. He loves hiking! He generally totally ignores strangers and only displays his affectionate side once he gets to know you. He is very well-behaved with all humans, including kids. He is good with other dogs. We prefer a more experienced handler for this dog just because Chows tend to be a bit dominant, but with someone who has a firm hand he will be a fantastic dog!
