About Paisley

Paisley is an 8 year old purebred Border Collie who is in need of a new, loving, home, preferably with someone experienced with Border Collie care. She is a sweet dog, good with kids (current owners have two small children), has not had issues with cats, she can be picky with other dogs, but has lived with two other dogs whom she loved and got along with very well. Her current owners do not have the time to commit to her needs. She has neurotic tendencies typical of the breed, and they would like her to be somewhere more equipped to train and handle her behavior, with people who are able to commit the time to her that she requires. She has never been aggressive to people, but has bit furniture upon hearing noises, has accidents in the house, barks and scratches at doors when she hears certain noises. She loves swimming, hikes, playing fetch, especially with sticks,and people. Her owners know that she can be a wonderful dog for someone who knows how to care for and train her.
