The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 3 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 06, 2020. Help! Adopter or Foster needed or I will be put down on in a few days. I am pretty dog-selective, meaning I'm very particular about my doggy friends. I am struggling in the shelter environment badly, so badly; spinning in circles and bouncing of the walls in my kennel. I have been here for over four months already. Some dogs can handle this environment better than other's....not me! I need out or I will be put down since it is not humane to keep me here....will you save my life? I'm about as fun as they get! I would love to be in house with a yard and a pool. I love to run and fetch and play in the water, and I like to go on walks and hikes too! I only had one 'dog to dog' intro at the shelter and I did not do well. I was very dominant and I did not respond to the other dog and the handler trying to correct me. So they stopped the introduction. It is possible I might be able to co-exist with another dog in the home BUT you have to crate separate and have a trainer come over and properly introduce us. I can't even imagine this is how it could end for me....I am to young to be put down.
