About Copper

Unfortunately I am looking to re home my 2 yr old male german shepherd. He is neutered, has anxiety, and has hip issues. He has had one FHO surgery on his right hip, but the vet said he may need another in his left in the future. Pros: he is a really loyal dog, loves just hanging out, he is not destructive when he is under supervision. Good with children and all humans. Cons: he has anxiety so leaving him locked up makes him act out. He will try to get in the trash if he smells something he likes. He is aggressive toward other dogs and cats. He has a high prey drive and he will hurt any animal in the house. We got him from a bad breeder and really have paid the price. That being said he is a really good dog for someone who is home for most of the day and need one loyal animal in their home. We have tried really hard to keep him, but it's becoming to difficult to keep life balanced and spend the necessary time he needs and deserves. I do not believe in just giving dogs away especially one that I am attached too. There will be a rehome fee, I will also need 1 personal and one vet reference from you .
