PLEASE SHARE EVERYWHERE AND HELP US FIND HER FOREVER HOME! BELLA Temecula, So Cal Bella is an older gal does not need a lot of exercise. She would do great with an older person with a small yard or even an apartment. She is house and leash trained, does not pull on leash. No small children please...... She was pulled from East Valley Shelter in Van Nuys and is currently in a temporary foster home. She needs to find her forever home soon as the foster cannot keep her much longer! This is what the shelter said about her: 'BELLA had me beaming at first glance. I first saw her standing at the front of her kennel at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, starting to hop up and down as I approached to give her a treat. Seriously, that smile on her face is to die for. Spending even a short amount of time with BELLA can be uplifting. She is a 12-year-old Boxer/Whippet mix with slightly bowed legs that may be a little stiff. This didn't stop her from prancing around the yard and returning for a treat and some petting.' BELLA entered the shelter on September 3, after her family lost their home. The person who brought her in said the following: 'She is potty trained, has been around male pitbull that she lived with, unknown with cats or small dogs.' A note by a shelter employee says: 'Took her out to the yard. Has stiff gait, but overall walks well on leash. Friendly and affectionate - allowed me to pet her on head and body. Some interest in toys when I threw the ball. Knows sit and seems to know stay.' I have a feeling that if everyone who reads this post shares it, bubbly BELLA will get seen by someone who will want to brighten their life with BELLA in it. Could that be you?
